The new pastor, Presbyter Linersi Leon Trigos was appointed by decree No. 259 of October 15, 2008 and took office on February 1, 2009 with great response from the people of God to welcome the new pastor sent by God.
Linersi León Trigos, with his pastoral experiences and his priestly dynamism, has contributed with the best of himself to make this parish community grow more and more every day, inhabited by the love of God and his Church.
The parish has an area of 900 square meters, in the shape of a rectangle, with 4 round columns, 2 in the atrium and 2 in the presbytery, which represent the four evangelists, some ossuaries in the upper part of the parish church and four vitrals that are distributed 2 in the main entrance which are the Virgin of Torcoroma and Blessed John XXIII. The other 2 stained glass windows are located above the side doors and are Blessed John Paul II and Mother Teresa of Calcutta. There is also an inner chapel where the tabernacle is located.

MONTERREY.- Bajo el nombre temático «My Hurt Planet» el artista William Pineda nos presenta su más reciente colección que desde el 4 de noviembre se está llevando a cabo en la Plaza Fiesta San Agustín en San Pedro Garza García, NL, México. Ahí permanecerá hasta el 18 de este mismo mes para después trasladarse a Washington. En la exposición hay numerosas piezas nunca antes vistas donde el artista colombiano busca crear conciencia entre los espectadores resaltando la importancia de la conservación de nuestra madre naturaleza.
William Pineda es conocido internacionalmente por su uso del expresionismo y el surrealismo abstracto, y por la forma en que utiliza el automatismo en su forma más pura. Su estilo único y particular genera gran movimiento a través de los trazos de una espátula vacía de cualquier pensamiento de control o razón, y exenta de cualquier preocupación estética o moral.
A lo largo de la historia y hasta no hace mucho sólo las élites participaban en el desarrollo y creación del arte, pero William Pineda nació con el talento en los genes ya que su padre también era un respetado pintor y joyero en Colombia.

Excellent fresh wind (today is the equinox). We have at 12 o’clock 43° 20′ lat. and 37° 32′ long. We are at the height of the Newfoundland bank. About 6 o’clock in the evening a brigantine schooner passed by port side, indicating coming from Europe for the United States. She did not hoist flag.
Wind as yesterday. Passed a brig on port side indicating coming from Europe (12 o’clock noon, 44° 41′ latitude and 33° 40′ longitude). Passed another brigantine schooner at 5 o’clock in the afternoon astern from N to S as from the United States to Europe.
